Organic Fibers

Organic fibers are natural fibers that have been grown without any pesticides and other toxic materials, preserving the health of humans and the environment. The process of organic growth can be certified by various organizations. We try to encourage our makers to create their designs in GOTS Certified Organic Cotton, the leading standard for organic fibers in the textile industry. The most important aspect of choosing GOTS-certified materials is that we are 100% sure that they are produced without harmful chemicals and pesticides, and grown with sustainable land management practices that don’t strain our planet's soil and environment.

When we think about dressing little ones we want to be sure they don’t come into contact with any substances that could cause harmful or painful reactions on their skin and bodies. Providing GOTS-certified textiles in our shop means providing parents and caregivers with the option of hypoallergenic clothing for their children.

Our favorite choice for sustainable clothing is organic cotton! If we were to unravel all the threads from all the clothes in our shop, we would have a giant pile of organic cotton fibers! Probably about 85-90% of all the textile fibers in our shop at any time of the year. We also love to use hemp, and organic wool for our winter-wear.
