Babee Greens, is a small cloth diaper company that values the environment. They have a line of organic, all-natural products features top quality and environmentally friendly fibers, including 100% certified organic cotton, 55% hemp/45% organic cotton blend, Oeko-Tex 100 Certified Merino Wool, and Cashmere. All of their products are handmade in Asheville, North Carolina.

The Babee Greens Story

BabeeGreens line of certified organic cloth baby diapers and baby products was developed out of a desire to provide an environmentally friendly alternative to the chemically grown cloth and or plastic disposable diapers that were widely available at the time. Conceived in the Blue Ridge Mountains in 2002, they began as a small business with one big goal of nurturing babies and the environment. With the rebirth of cloth diapering at in the 1990's and early 2000's there were few organic one size cloth diapers options in the US. This is when they designed their Growing Greens One Size Fitted Diaper. The organic cloth diaper is an investment in your little ones as well as an investment to reduce landfill waste, the use of chemically treated fibers, and costs. 20 years later, their original organic cloth diaper is still our top seller. Babee Green's is owned and operated exclusively by cloth diapering and eco-conscious mothers.

Babee Greens firmly believes in keeping business local. They manufacture all their products here in the USA. Their studio is nestled in the mountains of Asheville, North Carolina, each fabric product is hand cut and hand sewn by a skilled team of local seamstresses. They are connected to North Carolina’s long standing textile industry and continue to do our part in the resurgence of employment in our own backyard. Babee Greens maintains ethical and safe manufacturing standards and is proud to deliver the highest quality organic diapers and baby products to customers and retailers worldwide.

BabeeGreens uses only the highest quality, eco-friendly fibers in its cloth diaper products. They use 100% certified organic cotton, organic cotton/hemp blends, hypoallergenic, non-PVC poly resin snaps, and 100% unbleached cotton thread and latex free elastic.

  • The organic cotton is GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certified and is milled locally, making this line of products 100% USA made.
  • All of their Natural Wool products are  100% Merino Wool, made from Okeo Tex 100 certified yarn. BabeeGreens upcycled cashmere and wool diaper covers are also lined with Okeo Tex 100 Certified Merino Wool.
  • The resin snaps used on their baby products are compliant with the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA) Section 108 and Section 101 & 16 C.F.R. 1303.1

They also feature an organic cotton and hemp blend option in many products. Hemp is one of the world’s most biodegradable and sustainable fibers. The natural oils contain anti-microbial properties resisting mold, fungus, and bacteria that can cause skin irritation. In combination with its unique breath-ability this dense fiber absorbs four times more than cotton alone.
