Maker Info

Laura is a West Seattle resident and Mom of two school aged kids. She grew up around the Puget Sound area with a Mom who loved crafting. From an early age, crafting, art and making things was super important to her and as she went through school and into college, she decided to be an architect. But as she worked in that field for 20 years, the idea of working with her hands was somethings she was really missing. In the Fall of 2021, she decided to take a break from architecture and focus full-time on working on this passion - working with kids and adults making things and creating art.

Kathleen is a retired educator and amazing Nana. She recently retired from the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction advocating for incarcerated youth, working to ensure that they received a high quality education while in the Washington State prison system. Education is her passion and she is amazing good with kids.
