n 2008, Cate & Levi was founded by CEO & Founder Josh. An alumnus of law school, Josh had been practicing corporate law, but felt a calling towards 'making' - something his mother, an avid crafter, and his small business-owner father could agree upon. With their first child, Levi, soon to arrive, Josh saw the need for one-of-a-kind, responsibly made, and aesthetically pleasing products for children. He thus began creating a unique collection of items, starting with stuffed animals made from upcycled sweaters. These protective pieces of art became Cate & Levi's signature, spreading around the globe.
Cate & Levi Collection is crafted in Josh's Toronto, Canada studio, with each product closely supervised and all materials obtained locally, minimizing shipping and environmental impact.
